Japanese A4 Ribeye - Kagoshima  

Kagoshima took the Overall Win in Japan's Wagyu Olympics in 2017. The biggest name in Japanese Wagyu & the largest producer of Wagyu in Japan.

A4 Wagyu has slightly less fat and is not as overwhelmingly rich as some A5 Wagyu can be. It still has the unique melts-in-your-mouth and the umami qualities which are unique to the breed, but carries a more beefy flavor profile and you can eat more of it in one sitting.

Japanese “A4” indicates a BMS score of 5-7. This is the same quality as “A5” but just less fat marbling for a less rich experience. For some this much preferred as A5 can be too rich.
