How is the meat shipped?
Everything is cut fresh, vacuum sealed and flash frozen to maintain quality. The quality is not at all diminished by freezing. Check out our cooking tips for defrosting options.

Can I get a refund or replacement?
The Wagyu Window aims to provide the best and highest quality product you can find. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please Contact Us as soon as your package arrives so we can address your concerns and bring about an appropriate resolution, if necessary. 

Can I cancel my order?

Please email us immediately as it would have to be cancelled before it ships out. If your order has not yet been processed or shipped then we can cancel your order. You will be charged the payment system’s processing fee. Cancellation due to shipping company’s delay are not eligible for cancellation. If excessively delayed where it effects the meat, then it will be credited or resent. 

Can I return my order?
All sales are final. No returns or exchanges once items are produced. You may be eligible for a refund. Our products are perishable, and it is our policy that products can never be returned except when requested. Please Contact Us for any questions or concerns with your order.

What is the number after the steak?
That is what's referred to as the BMS (beef marbling score). This is used to determine the grade and marbling of the steak. US Prime beef gets graded up to a 5. Japanese Wagyu beef gets rated up to a 12. When referring to Japanese A5 Wagyu, A is referring to the yield of the cow, and the 5 refers to the BMS score being between an 8 or above. How long can I store the meat in the refrigerator or freezer?
Once thawed, we do not recommend keeping the steak in the refrigerator for over 5 days in its vacuum sealed package. While steak can be frozen safely for up to 6 months or more, to experience the steak at its best we do not recommend keeping it frozen longer than 2 months.

Is your meat sustainable?
Yes! We source exclusively from family farms and ranches with high standards of sustainability.

Where do you get your meat from?
Our proteins are sourced from all over the world, working with different farms, ranches, prefectures, and their distributors. Our sources have all been assessed to ensure all the meat lives up to the highest quality from the care of the animals up to delivery.

Can I place a special order?
Yes! If you are looking for something that is not on our favorites menu, just Contact Us and we will work with you individually to try to get you what you are looking for.

What steak is best?
