The Wagyu Window Korean BBQ Style Australian Short Ribs

Australian Short Rib On Bone - Toss one on the bbq! Slice up & sear for Korean BBQ or Yakiniku. Stick them in the pressure cooker/slow cooker for that soft tender fall off the bone dinner!

Simple white rice and banchan (small side dishes/vegetables compliments the meat very well. (Our favorite rice is Botan Calrose!) 

Unroll The Wagyu Window Short Ribs and cut into approximately 1.5 inch pieces and slice 1 whole onion (optional). Set aside. 

Marinade:

(For 2 Australian Short Ribs) 

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl & mix. 

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ponzu
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced/crushed garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Sambal hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin or rice vinegar can also be used
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha

Method:

Combine the mixed marinade, short rib pieces and onion. Cover and refrigerate for at least a few hours. 

Using a tabletop grill or Japanese style Binchotan grill. Place the short rib slices and onion on the grill and allow to cook for about 1-2 minuets per side. Serve & ENJOY!
